I would like to start being more updated on technology , ranging from programming, hardware, smart phones, etc(basically anything that is a piece of technology)
I do read maximum pc, it is a very good site.
I like 2600 alot.
Linux Journal and some of the Linux magazine are a bit pricy to order.
I don't like Wired to much because it more for users.
I don't like other nubish tech sites like pcworld and other real mainstream ones. If you guys could please suggest some sites for me that will help me stay up to date with everything in the field I would be very grateful :)

Addictive tips is a good site.

Thanks for all the great sites guys, its a big helper :)

Since Mordred pointed out Public Intelligence and Cryptome, I'd also like to include Disinformation (http://disinfo.com) as a good alternative media resource.

I use slashdot.org instead of reading all the news sites. It is a meta news collection. Arstechnica.com is great too.
