Hello EZ,
Ive installed some centos servers and stuff and I thought about givin it a go for a desktop machine.
Man it Sucks.
Now I remember why I quit playing with fedora, dont like yum one single bit.
The whole repo management is just terrible.
Its fast, its stable alright and maybe for servers especially good , but desktop :S
Gonna do another boring arch install I guess.
Any thoughts?

In the course of writing my thesis paper I had a lot of experience withe Cent OS 6.3 (server) and a little bit with desktop.
The server is one of the most stable linux server OS's I've ever used. Very nice documentation, pretty small footprint on the harddrive(the minimal iso). SELinux can cause issues if not configured properly or disabled, but that holds true for any system with SELinux. Not sure which is "stabler" Cent OS or Debian Stable.
The desktop is ages behind the popular distribution in terms of out of the box driver support and flashy new features, but that is to be expected.
Also Fedora for me is utter crap and has always been utter crap.
