: "Where do deleted files go?"
: Kulverstukas July 20, 2013, 08:17:19 PM
A new episode just came out from VSauce youtube channel, talking about file deletion on your hard drive. Every self-respecting computer geek should know about this stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5s4-Kak49o

Check that channel out to see other awesome videos they make.

Irrelevant, irrelevant, irrelevant detail , irrelevant detail.
Tiny bit of actually relevant info.
Scary dude.

Thanks for sharing, that was strange and irrelevant.

Well, it is irrelevant for people like us who already know how a HDD works and how files get "deleted" (or, to be more accurate, marked as free space). I believe his objective is to shed some light into science for people who never had much contact with it, and he does a pretty damn good job at that, IMO. Simple concepts, nice examples, simple animations explaining what he's saying, etc...
But watching the video again, and yeah... He does talk a lot about unrelated stuff in order to make his point.

Sure he has a point , never said he didnt but he drifts off subject like my mom.
Hell she doesnt even know where she started off.
Telling me crap about when the sun will burn out... really.
Nevermind Im just quickly bored especially hearing things that I already know bothers me for some reason , guess its a childhood thing.

What else do you expect from VSauce? He does highly dumbed down pop science for the mass consumer mind.
