Apple recently announced its new comers to the cellphone market this September, the iphone 5c and iphone 5c. This is a review of each device and a comparison between them and iphone 5.

Both cellphones will be released this September.
-
Now with fingerprint authentication.
-
Just, no.
Easiest way for the NSA to get a fingerprint - name database also. Fuck that.
-
The easiest solution = Do not use the fingerprint authentication.
-
What I find funny here is that I know some people who actually bought an iPhone 5 only to watch the 5S version being launched at more than half the price of it's predecessor (according to local news).
Other funny thing is watching apple's iPhone 5C ad. It's like "Look, now it's plastic! Oh, and it has lots of colors! Have we mentioned it's plastic? Look at how we made them... Neat, uh? Look at this! It's glossy plastic!".
What I hear: "Ok, we ran out of ideas, but we need more money. Here's a plastic remake for the poor, so shut up and let us take your money."
And now, iPhone 5S has "Dedicated fitness tracking" so that you know how many calories you've burned while walking over to McDonalds. Yay!

Two iPhone 5c models? What about the iPhone 5s? :P

We are actually someone who try not to think about that while driving to McDonald's :P

This is so fucking useless. A fingerprint authentication for a touchscreen? wake up people... only stupid people can fall for that shit... oh wait...

Lol! You talkin about that "Fingerprint unlock" apps?
-
And the sad thing is that people who have iPhone 5 will go and get the 5s because they want to have the "best". Ignorant fools.
Oh, there is actually an ad thats quite good:

No, he's referring to the fact that the iPhone 5S will officially support fingerprint scanning as a means of authentication besides passcodes.
This has been a pretty hot topic in privacy circles just recently.

Yeah, kinda missed what Kulver was trying to say.

Never liked iPhones much.... well actually that's a lie. I liked them back when 3GS model and iPhone4 came out. Once I got one, got bored rather quickly. No customization, very big limitation of the phone... just not the type of the phone for me....
And realistically, for me Apple phones, and probably any other device released by Apple are lost since Steve Jobs passed away... RIP.
Lets not lie ourselves, since He is gone, there are no new nor innovative ideas to be used in that company, thats why they lowered themselves to releasing some... reheated scramble eggs.

There never was innovation in the first place. Just a shit ton of crafty marketing and law suites. The only thing Jobs did was create a false need and exploited the idiots who have to much money.
-
We can still fight.
So do so, and we will win.
Like Counter-Strike bot once said... "there's too many of them!"
-
Samsung just announced that around next year they will also hop onto 64bit. Because their latest note already has 3gb ram.
-
And they only do that becuase Apple has released a 64bit phone. They won't risk loosing market shares because of that.
-

That's not true, it's because Apple have their own sock and Samsung will have to wait until ARM releases their new ARMv8 64 bit chips ;)
-
Not a fan but after Steve's death apple went full retard.

Hey they did! He released first tablets, I mean, they aint that useful to me and my work but for travel they're great. I know he hasnt came up with the idea, can't remember who it was, I think as usual, it was first thought by some movie producer, some old film from 70's, thats where tablet starred first time ever but... Steve was the first one to release a fully working one from what I know, I guess thats the only large innovation he ever introduced, but he was a wise man, if he was still alive Im sure he would come up with some other stuff.

If that dont give you an idea of just how "innovative" apple is then you are a retard. Dont forget the other tablet was cheaper!

... No need to call anybody a retard.
First things first, Steve Jobs WAS the first one to patent the tablet, yet he hasnt released it as he was working both on the tablet and phones. At the time when he was working on the tablet and pretty much he has finished it up, he had a big break through with his iphones and he decided to leave tablets on the shelf for now on and focus on the phones, thats why he released his tablets so long after HP did theirs, so what they bought patents or patented a tablet first on the market when Steve has his ready way back?
Im not talking about how tablet was innvative the first time it came out, but the actual blueprints and patent of it, making it totally working touch screen device.
Fair enough you've had a bad start of the day but is there really any need for calling me a retard? Gladly Im far from it.
-
I suggest you all read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_tablet_computers
Also, this is getting a little off-topic...
-
Indeed it's getting quite off-topic.
But we shall not forget that he/Apple was the first to make it popular! The tablet from HP was a shitty device though the first iPad was somethign exciting and good looking. They made it popular and exclusive to have a tablet. Apple has been the comapany to open up and make new ideas popular. First with the smartphone, next with the tablet.

Since when does somethings popularity make it good? I guess with that logic Hitler was an ok dude, because you know that whole "we are the super race" was rather popular in Germany at the time, or how about AOL!(yes i just compared a shity ISP to Hitler, i doubt im the first). End of the day the popularity of a product doesnt make it good or bad, that has to be judged on its actual merits, not its perceived merits. Apple products suck. It is not a "new" phenomenon, they have been re-branding shit and calling it new/innovative/etc since well the Apple II. Literally aside from the GUI what have they actually done that is innovative? That list since then is incredibly small. What they have done exceedingly well is: bilk their customers, made everything "match", made sure to simplify their user interfaces to the point that you can do damn near nothing but what its designed for, marketed like a 3000 pound gorilla, sued like nobodys business and then charged out the ass for their products. However not one of those things makes the product better. In the end Steve Jobs death doesnt effect their product at all, it effects their marketing, because THAT is what he was a genius at.

So first he was the first one to come out with the tablet(wrong), now he is the first to patent one?(wrong) I already went through this with you on another thread, CHECK YOUR FUCKING FACTS. See that new tab button? CLICK IT. Go to the search engine of your preference, and actually LEARN something. Hint: propaganda from a company, or government, or group is not to be trusted. Try looking at the "cold hard facts" performance, hardware/software issues, virus rates etc. Hint: #1 worse(seriously any product), #2 varies, sometimes better/worse than competitors, #3 about even every year. Yeah thats right they get viruses at the same percentage rate as say a windows machine. you just dont hear about it because even if EVERY mac got a virus at once it still wouldnt hit the numbers of what even a "medium" damage PC virus causes. They just dont have the product saturation to make it noticeable to the news. So look at actual statistics. Not some retarded news site or some rag like PCWorld.
The thing that you seem to keep disregarding when i give you advice, aside from my time, is that ive already DONE extensive research. Im not some fanboy like you. I actually took my time to learn about hardware, failure rates, etc. I actually have done all this research, and continue to do research. what im stating here is not opinion its fact.
The only 3 innovative products apple has ever had is:Apple II(w/GUI), FireWire, and the ipod. Wait the ipod you say? Yeah because its the closest they have come to "innovation" in a long time, but hey i will admit their touch wheel design was an amazing idea. Only one issue with two out of three of these innovations. They didnt come up with them! Thats right they BOUGHT the patents to these "innovations" they were not come up with in house like they try to act. Hmmm smacks of Edison, then again he is remembered as a great inventor while Tesla was just that crazy guy(you know because Edison went on a smear campaign against him because he proved him wrong, the gravest of sins). Oh yeah Steve Jobs is a GREAT inventor and PC's are bad and MAC's are good! oh wait they did it again!
Some more "great" innovations purchased by apple:
Siri
their "maps" software(LOL)
app search engine
icloud
itunes
...getting the idea?
In the end im fine with you remaining ignorant, and my anger is NOT directed at that. You would be right to assume that i am not happy that i felt compelled to write all this, when i would rather be working on my hardware guide. However these things, your ignorance and wasting my time, is not the biggest factor to my anger. It is that you say you do research before talking about something, that you are in fact a knowledgeable person, when you have proven again and again you are not. Far worse than that is that you are putting out all sorts of wrong information that others who dont/wont know better may believe and then get screwed by.
My ending conclusion: DONT FUCKING SPOUT RANDOM BULLSHIT AS FACT, DO YOUR GOD DAMN RESEARCH, AND WHEN SOMEONE IS POLITE ENOUGH TO INFORM YOU YOU ARE WRONG, AT LEAST CHECK YOUR FUCKING FACTS BEFORE COMING BACK WITH WHAT AMOUNTS TO THE OH SO WITTY "NU-UH!" Now before you decide to act all ass hurt and clueless as to what im talking about note in this thread, before THIS post you have been corrected by 3 members: Techb, Snayler and me. On top of that, this isnt some skidy site, we know our shit or we dont say shit. So chances are if someone here is talking, your eyes should be reading and absorbing.
@phage the info in the first paragraph is sitll solid, but please dont take the sarcasm etc to heart. its not directed at you, i just didnt see why i should write two paragraphs one for you without sarcasm and one for him with.
@this thread: Good Sirs and Ma'am's I do not believe i shall purchase one of these devices.
Ha on topic!
Edit:spacing was fcked! oops

@Darkvision, after my first post here I realized no matter what I would say or facts I could provide would shed light to someone who is wearing rose colored glasses. I'm sure there will be retaliation and such... Try and stay calm and realize some people just want to watch the world burn. Anyway, here is a cookie for the excellent post.
Even at that, this is either an epic troll or people will blindly follow a charismatic person who spouts innovation. But that word "innovation" is thrown around so much these days, the food I eat that turns my poop green is now considered innovative.
Anyway, meh, I'm done.

I haven't read all the replies, but I got the feeling this thread has turned into a Samsung vs Apple debate.

No, it is turning to into Evilzone vs Apple. Innovative claims where made, we are correcting them.
-
I fully agree with and support that statement. I also believe that apple jumped on board with PRISM after (jobs) died. What a shame right ?
After, pfft, NSA forced companies to join the operation. Some did it gladly, some not; like Microsoft and Google.
I don't own a iPhone, never will.
I do own an iPod that's somewhere in my room.
Everyone in this thread should take a chill pill.
This poem sucks and is not correctly done, it's my doom...
