Dig Dug (ディグダグ, Digu Dagu? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Installing_Japanese_character_sets)) is an arcade game (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcade_game) developed and published by Namco (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco) in Japan in 1982 for Namco Galaga (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco_Galaga) hardware. It was later published outside of Japan by Atari, Inc. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari,_Inc.). A popular game based on a simple concept, it was also released as a video game on many consoles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_console).
Absolutely love this game to this day. This was actually the first game I got with my computer and it was included on a floppy disk. I don't know what else to say about this game. What is more fun than blowing up monsters with a pump and digging tunnel traps to drop rocks on them? If you haven't played this game you will have to try it to know the full extent of what I'm getting at here. It is extremely addictive.

This reminds me of the "Gold Digger" on Zhiliton consoles that came with those yellow cassettes :D man those were good times.

I just barely remember played this game as part of a mashup CD my mom bought when i was about 10, it had like 30 games on it and this was one that I played the most. Thanks for the emulator btw, I think I'm gonna go for it:)
