Max Payne is a third-person shooter in which the player assumes the role of its titular character, Max Payne. Almost all the gameplay involves bullet time-based gun-fights and levels are generally straightforward, occasionally incorporating platforming and puzzle-solving elements.

My input:

Max Payne is in my list of ass-kicking games. It was awesome since the very first one. Graphics were not all that great for MP 1 and 2 but the plot was great, gameplay was great, and bullet-time action was what made the game so great. Max Payne 3 was even better than both combined. Sweet graphics and sweet sweet human physics, I would seriously recommend to play Max Payne 3 if you haven't already. It's a long game and a very good one.
