Parasite Eve is an action role-playing survival horror video game. Movement in the various environments is free. Movement in the "world map" (which is a map of Manhattan) is limited to specific destinations. Upon the player walking over a "hot spot", there's a chance of a random encounter.
My input:
This is a game that has controls same as other awesome games, such as "Men in black", "Silent Hill", "(P)Resident Evil", "Alone in the dark"... there were 2 games in the same storyline, both were very good, third game was a branch of the main story, called "The 3rd birthday"... I wrote a review about it earlier.
The 2 main games were great, yeah, third game was also great if you like mindless shooting, though the story was somewhat great. It's a shame they didn't continue developing the game... it would have potential :/
