: [HELP] Fixing my Samsung Infuse 4G
: Entreri913 March 21, 2014, 03:53:48 PM
I was looking for a new ROM to replace AEON on my Samsung infuse and I found this ROM called Carbon, I put it on my SD card and attempted to Boot it when I realized at the boot loader instead of just saying samsung like normal it said GALAXY S. Some fucker trolled the XDA forums and put a Galaxy S. rom in the Infuse 4G and now I cant load/boot any of my old ROM's or use the new one to access my phone. Any advice on how to get this off my phone?

Can't you use Odin to flash your ROM?

Just download an version of odin found in the link below, find an odin flashable version of the stock rom (I'll leave another link below for a few possibilities but I'm not sure what your build number is and what not), put your phone into download mode (if you don't know how to do that I would would just google it), and follow the instructions in the 2nd link. I hope this helped you out a little bit.

No problem. Now at least in the future if a similar problem occurs you'll know what to do ;).

Don't say it's somebody else his fault, because you did not do proper research to popular roms and downloaded a rom and installed without doing research.

Okay guys, so my friend was working on my phone since he is more knowledgeable on the subject, and he got it off and back to normal... except he deleted the system. It only makes it to the boot screen where is says Samsung and it wont go further. The Voodoo boot (Hold both volume buttons and the power button for 5 seconds on boot) is unsuccessful as well. Is there a way to restore my phone without having to get past the boot screen?

Boot the phone into download/odin mode and flash the stock tar file, may have to get the pit file along with bootloader and rehash the entire system to stock. I could try and locate all of the necessary files but I need carrier information and exact model number to ensure you get the proper files to flash

Try to download the PIT before or you can be totally fucked if you flash the wrong one and can't find a proper one.
