If you can cout >>, i think you have enough C++ to go on. This means you can read code and understand it. "i haven't read any of you source codes." But i think you are just gonna have to know how to plugin you code, then go read about searching, state space and search operator, searching in a maze, et-la. I aint an AI guy but this is where i would start, twick the code till it does more than i expected, then go nap as it devours those lazy bastards.
