Hello,

There seems to be a bit of butthurt around on the internet again, leading to DoS against our IRC nodes. Seeing how these nodes are not made to withstand any form of DoS, they have been taken offline for the time beeing. We do have one node still online (r2d2.irc.evilzone.org), so if you really want, you can use that one. Cant guarantee it will stay online for long tho.

Seeing how I just got home from vacation and really dont want to deal with this right now, I will deal with it tomorrow. Thank you little skiddie for ruining an otherwise awesome week of vacation, we love you.

Yeah, everybody loves a good DoS attack for no apparent reason. Skiddies are fun to have around. Sometimes I even put out food for them - cheesy party mix works best. It's not required for sightings, though. Most of them leave their webcams on, so you can get pictures that way.

Jesus hates them, but I believe some extra comments in this thread are only fuel for additional attacks.

Is IRC back up yet? I can't seem to connect, but it could just be an issue on my end. I've had problems before.

The IRC channel has been back up for some time now so it's most likely a problem on your end. Try the alternative server link in the OP and if that doesn't work you can always try yoda.irc.evilzone.org

Yeah, I'm trying to run client-side, since I can't use Java in my browser right now. I seem to recall before that I needed to connect SSL to get in, maybe because of some glitch on my end. Can you PM me the SSL password if you have it? I can't seem to recall what it is.

There is no SSL password.

The network details are:

DNS pool: irc.evilzone.org
Nodes: yoda.irc.evilzone.org, vader.irc.evilzone.org and r2d2.irc.evilzone.org
Ports are 6667 and SSL at 6697 and 9999
