: 3G internet hack
: alex92 September 30, 2014, 08:16:53 PM
Hi,i have sim card with free access for facebook for 12 months (i can fully use facebook, watch videos uploaded to facebook...etc).I'm just wondering how mobile provider can restrict internet for only one site(i can only think that could be done via proxy),and i'm trying to find out is there any way to bypass that restriction to get full internet access, not only facebook? Thanks in advance...  :)

It is possible via filtering I suppose. Rba or proxx might add more to that.

Can i use this tutorial? https://evilzone.org/hacking-and-security/sim-directories-mobile-networks-gsm-3g-networks-re-usb-modem-hacking-p-1/ (https://evilzone.org/hacking-and-security/sim-directories-mobile-networks-gsm-3g-networks-re-usb-modem-hacking-p-1/)
But tutorial is not very detailed,so i have to ask you to help me configure Inject Header Query:
1.In main window,i should only select proxy,right?
2.Host should be ip of "free site" in my case that's facebook?
3.Proxy should be proxy ip and port i use now from my isp?
4.I don't know what should i do with Header,Forward and what to choose for Method?
Thanks :)

I would highly advise u to learn what all of this means amd works instead of asking for others to tell u what to fill in the blanks, that is very skidiesh

if visited-ip in whitelist:
 continue
else:
 charge

Data sent to or from you to a white listed IP e.g. facebook will not be charged. Unless you control the white list or can use the white listed IPs to act as proxies you are out of luck.

You can't fool your provider wrt. what IP you connect to otherwise they would not be able to serve your request.

My thoughts exactly.
This won't be easy as trust all lies on the side of the ISP.

Nothing is unbreakable but there is no quicky solution here.

I know that, but i was thinking to use ip as proxy somehow,to act like i'm visiting facebook,i know everything is on isp side, but there must be the way to send a query to isp that looks like facebook, and bypass that speed limit for other sites i have right now(i tried a few combinations for proxy, but so far without success)...
I also used web sniffer to find out which facebook ip is on my isp "White list",and i found that ip,and for now that is all progress i have made...

You can't just use any proxy as the proxy have to be on the white list. If you can make facebook load content from sources you decide you're in luck, but i doubt this is possible. I don't use facebook and have very little knowledge of the whole app thing they do, but I doubt they would allow you to do any kind of proxy-related service.

I hugely doubt it can be circumvented this way.

I'm guessing they are not doing the check via deep package inspection. That would be dumb and when in comes to charging a customer most of the ISPs don't fail.

This is an interesting topic, we can make a general statment that poses a fundamental challenge to this problem. How can mobile providers restrict certain users from using interent untill the user pays a certain amount of money?
The package the op is using is rather strange, i've never heard of a mobile providers allowing access to a certain website only? Where i live and i think this can be generalized world wide, you have internet packages (eg. 1gb, 5gb or unlimited) each and every package has a certain price.

In the end, i think the problem lies in the dns settings, i've done some searching and i found this link. It could hold some answers.

Ain't know anything about too much..  But in my Sim card we can access a certain URL without any cost.  So we set that as homepage and use a proxy server. Maybe I am sounding dumb but I am able to access Internet for free.. I can show you.  I know this thread is old but meh

Here is how I do in Internet configuration  :set freely accessible URL as homepage and then set a proxy and save it open homepage and you will visit proxy server site..
