Just want to know if any of the following graphics card will fit in and work with this desktop computer
1)ATI Radeon XFX HD 5570 1GB
2)nvidia evga gt 240 128 bit 1 gb
and which one would u prefer if you were to get any one of them in same price
I apologize for my ignorance but I know nothing of hardware manufacturers and models and i've found the two cards online from a store nearby at cheap price 35 USD to for Raedon one and 40USD for nvidia one! I have this old lenovo desktop here and I am wondering if it will 'fit in' and be compatible with that desktop. The graphics card are expected to play pre 2k12 decent games. Yap not really the gaming PC anybody would want but the one I can afford for now. So before I make a deal with any of those I Just want to confirm if the card will be comptaible and will fit in the body since a desktop doesnt have a lot of space

I have it upgraded to 4gb memory ,160 gb HDD and the same 1.8 core 2 duo.

Those cards are tiny. They'll fit easily, although you should check dimensions against the PCI-E port just to be sure.

Btw this local dealer tells me the 55 seiries isnt compatible with that board. Is there really some of this compatibilty fuss?

A word of advice, don't get branded computers in the future. They are a bitch to expand.
Edit: Why don't you try out the 2GB version of the Geforce GT 610?

After extending, stretching and molesting my budget all I have is 4000 pkr :P the perks of being a middle class teenager in a third world country.
