Hi all!

I'm just fed up trying to find a good resource to find real hacking tools. Hopefully. this forum's tutorials may shed light on some hacking questions i have (just joined--still not gone through all of it).

1) My current try is to find a real software (if there's any at all) that search online specially for unprotected private webcams and hack into them (without providing user details like Skype handles etc -- just anyone's online with a webcam running), giving the user access to the video stream.

2) Also, i'm interested in a software that scans the web for unprotected CCTV cams (cams like in shopping malls and other shops that's connected to the web. btw i've tried the google cam hack -- isn't giving good results: just blurry street cams etc. You can get such cams even using earthcam.com) and giving the user access to them.Sorry if my questions sounds lame. If you guys know where to find such software, please make an input.

btw If my post does break forum rules, please ignore me or delete the thread.

Thanks for any help!

1) Everything you wrote is unrelated. You cannot find "open webcams", that's not how they work. You want to find CCTV home monitoring cameras, which some users can't configure properly and so they become indexed by google as public cameras. You can find them using Google dorks, however only random.

2) You can't find anything specific using google dorks (like I want to find open cameras in that mall across the street), what you can do is connect to their private network somehow and scan for camera services. However they'll probably be other type of cameras, which don't transmit over web.

I think Kulverstukas hit the nail on the head, I'm not sure if you considered this or not, but a good way to access webcams on personal computers would be to have a RAT installed on the targets computer, maybe you've already thought of that, maybe not.  If not, here are a few RAT clients: DarkComet, Blackshades or CyberGate.  I hope this helps in whatever you're trying to accomplish!

Further to it.. I once found a friend claiming to hack into one of the airport of America. Well it was index'd in google and was public. He posted it on FB saying Hacked into Blah Blah North base of AirPort. I got the ip and what I did is. I got AngryIP(Which is actually a IP Scanner) and commented saying Hacked the west base.. haha.. Scan the ip Range and get the private webcams which are not index'd on google.. ;) Hope It helps.

Thanks guys for the replys, really!  :)

Recently i read about a website, which exposed that there are lots of unprotected cams (which are really private, even bedroom webcams) that can be hacked (on the net, there are pictures taken from the cam videos featured on the site -- the site is down now). I think you guys know about that indecent. How you guys think the owners of the website did that? Just from a method like google cam hack?

Do you have a link to a tutorial or something on how to use a IP scanner, get google-unlisted cam IPs, and hack into them?

If I was going to do this, Id either jsut use well known google dorks or..

choose a softwae you want to attack, say... logitech makes some bullshit cctv camera that uses port 6578 and you know the default adminitration combo is admin:imamassivedouchebag

then you could find some ISP IP ranges and use masscan you scan for port 6578, then log in to those things to your hearts content.

It would be really cool if i can hack into some secrete military base cam, where they reverse-engineer ufo's ;) lol

If anyone know other tips, tricks, helpful links, beginners tutorial links relating to this cam hacking thing, please post.

THANKS AGAIN!!!

No, no it wouldn't lol You'd find yourself in a windowless room real fast.

Also military bases tend to have less cameras than you'd think. Especially since many U.S bases are also residential areas complete with micky ds and subway with public employees :P

There is no such tut available to hack into it. Just do it man! Be creative. Think of all the sides. When you learn something just JOIN THE DOTS as Steve Jobs said before. Download the AngryIP Scanner and play with it. Do you really need any tut for that? Rather create your own.

No, like in normal bases like the ones Ive been stationed at lmao.

And if you think being outside of the US makes you safe if they catch you /attempting/ to hack military anything you are dead wrong. Emphasis on dead. Remember the US has to go through beaucratic legal hoops to fuck over it's own citizens. If you ain't in the US or a closely allied nation then the US pretty much assumes it has full reign(as sad as that may be to hear). Special forces can and will be deployed against suspected foreign 'terrorists' and even if they aren't allowed to torture anymore, iraqi paramilitary police forces ARE, and its been quite common to hand over suspects to unmarked building and never see them again. Just nice loopholes like that. And yes, doesn't matter if youre not middle eastern.

Look, I'm not one to really care about someones moral spectrum, especially in regards to hacking. And this is kinda offtopic now, but I DO care about risk vs reward. Not even commenting on the level of security of military networks, I'm not allowed to comment on that even though Im no longer in secret clearance or not. I will say though that targeting military anything jacks up the risk of any act by magnitudes. The risk of getting caught, no matter how likely or unlikely that may be just isn't worth it.

Yeah, maybe US has the power over every single person on every country, i really don't know about that. I was just joking earlier, probably it's impossible to crack a military top secret cam. So I'll just stick to bedroom cams of pretty girls lol

You're a complete moron. Thanks.

Alright man those are completely unrelated. First CCTV is generally not wireless so you can't go Aiden Peirce and just tap some buttons and play a Tetris ripoff to get access to the malls Security cams. Spend some time investigating. But if you're looking to get into IP cams heres where I can help you.

First Scan the network. I like Nmap but Some Skids prefer a nice GUI. On iOS download an app called iNet. It's a really nice network scanner it even tells you what the device is called. Scan it and get the IP of the Camera. Most sys admins are retards and Don't actually change the default login info on the Cameras thinking nobody knows about this shit. Just lookup the Default creds on the Camera and login to the Camera like you would a Modem. That should work unless the password is changed. If the password is changes then lookup the model. Most Ip cameras have some sort of Hardcoded root password. Just look it up. I know some guy at Defcon 20 or 21 did a talk on this. He released a list of the Hardcoded logins for big names (Belkin, Linksys etc)

And for the Webcam just RAT the person you want. If you're looking to stalk kids on the net I won't help you from here on.

Dude, it seems like you don't want to do any research and just want a step-by-step guide..which you're not going to get.  The reality is, hacking is dynamic and requires research and information gathering on your target and if you're already failing at the research stage then I don't know what to tell you.  When I say dynamic, I mean your approach always going to be different based on your target.  There is SO much information on the internet and in books.  You just kind of have to read the material and learn..most of the time the material is out-dated or the holes have already been patched, but you still learn and you can create your own personal knowledge-base.  Other people will only be able to help so much, that is unless you guys have the same target and working together.

It is always helpful to do research on any questions you have before you create a new thread.  I'm not saying you didn't, I'm just saying that maybe you didn't do enough.  And if you don't want to get caught, I wouldn't try to "hack" a military base..especially these days, unless you know what you are doing...then you can just make it look like North Korea did it.  LOL jk.

That being said, other users have already provided a good method: GOOGLE.  Awesome for information gathering and hacking.  And I am giving you the same advice. Learn complex google queries and you can find a lot of weaknesses in your target's infrastructure -- there are a lot of websites that will teach you advanced google searches...just GOOGLE them.  Or buy a google hacking book from amazon.

Anyhow, just my 2 cents.

Good Luck.

I don't courage you to use AngryIP, it keeps logs averywhere, otherwise nmap can scan all the range without keeping any thing using stealth mode (it uses a half connection to the target)

Oh not questioning that, afaik the Hacking Exposed books were some of the earliest comprehensive books on security. Absolutely great resources for beginners, but theres a reason I said old editions :P Some of the information gets outdated pretty quickly and outdated information in this world can be misleading.

I just can't help but laugh when someone comes in, act like they might know something, but then it be just wrong enough to screw someone over if they take it seriously. I was probably a bit harsher to him than needed to be, but hey I have my helpful moods and I have my laugh in yo face moods.

ok super genius, why don't tell us what does it mean "A half TCP connection" ? and why a firewall cares out and stores alllllll of "TCP SYN Flagged packets" in its database ?? (without a help of google :))

First of all dont double post.

Second of all if you would stop being a moron for a few minutes and realize that IDSes are a thing, and that any IDS worth /half/ its salt will watch individual packets, not just full TCP connections. This means that when it sees a ton of SYN packets to different ports regardless if it completes a connection or not, it's going to flag it as suspicious activity and log it along with the address associated.

So calm yo tits for one second, swallow that ego I apparently hurt by laughing at you, and realize that in this modern day a SYN scan is NOT stealthy anymore. You go around pretending it is and eventually you're gunna learn the hard way its not. And it certainly won't be any skin off my back.

Also pretty off topic on this, so not gunna be replying anymore, wanna keep arguing with me might as well do it in PMs where you'll look less of an idiot to everyone else.
