Sorry for the click-baity title but that's kinda what this is. Came across this fellow's site awhile back, his name's Aman Hardikar (http://www.amanhardikar.com/index.html) and his profile lists a dozen certs and specialties related to InfoSec, working out of Asia and the UK. He's posted 20+ Mind Maps (http://www.amanhardikar.com/mindmaps.html), which are basically visual representations of all info related to whatever topic, from VPN to VoIP to worm/virus classification to forensics and home security. My favorites are the ones for creating a practice hack lab (http://www.amanhardikar.com/mindmaps/Practice.html), testing/breaking web apps (http://www.amanhardikar.com/mindmaps/webapptest.html), and beginning cryptography (http://www.amanhardikar.com/mindmaps/Cryptography.html)
There's no tutorials, though he does list URL resources for many of the topics in each map, but that's what google/ebooks are for. This pretty much answers every "Where do I start?" post on this forum, hence the Newbie sub.
Here's the main page url http://www.amanhardikar.com/ (http://www.amanhardikar.com/)
