I'm trying to partition my hard drive so i can dual boot kali on my computer. However, i already have 4 partitions and i cant make any more.
I was wondering, do i even need my RECOVERY Drive or even HP TOOLS? (yes yes, i plan on upgrading computers soon :p )

No not really, assuming you dont mind the risks of losing your recovery bullshit when you should be doing your own backups instead (pffft who does what they are supposed to do? What am I supposed to do, NOT precariously place my laptops on various high ledges?).
So yeah, you can (probably) safely delete those. However *STANDARD ANTI_KALI DISCLAIMER* Dont install kali. Go to any of the hundreds of other threads about kali to get a varied opinion on why.
I know you Evilzone, dont make this the third(fourth?) active Kali thread.

bro you just jelly. you cant hax the FB without the kali.
Anyway recovery partitions are for those without the ability to just download an OEM version anyway. (its really hard and l337 to do this) So yeah i wouldnt worry that much about it, also if the PC already has 4 partitions, and im guessing most of those are you, your system probably has enough clutter in its registry to need to be started from scratch, so id just back up my important shit, make a live USB of whichever windows and whichever linux floats your boat and start from scratch.

you can wipe it.
I did the same. Got a hp elitebook with barely 128gb ssd. I removed the other partitions and it still works. Like said above, if you fuck up, you need to reinstall (download a windows Iso and go!)

Don't dual boot, use VM or Live USB. See this thread (https://evilzone.org/hacking-newbies/kali-linux-arguments-for-a-little-newbie!) (or some of the other Kali threads). Also, if you are dead set on dual boot, leave the space unpartitioned and partition it during install of Kali, since Windows can't make ext4 partitions, which you will probably want to have.

As someone who has played a lot with her partitions... Don't waste your time dual booting Kali. Kali is completely functional from a USB/VM, there's no need for trouble. You'll hear that a million more times!
That being said... Is it you need more primary partitions? Cause you can build a modified extended partition to cope
-
As far as i know you can have only 4 primary partitions that are needed for window installation and stuff that only can be installed on primary partitions. But as i know linux can be installed on logical partition without any problems. And you can have as many logical partitions as you like.
Look at this link maybe is this what's you looking for http://askubuntu.com/questions/149821/my-disk-already-has-4-primary-partitions-how-can-i-install-ubuntu

Please don't run Kali with a dual boot, go for something like Arch, Slackware, Debian, Mint, etc. If you want to use Kali, boot it off of a USB. If you want to use Kali, dual boot with Debian or Mint to give you a feel for how the command line would be with Kali.
