Its possible if i use external hdd for install any os without internal hard drive? Thanks. ;)

I guess it's possible, but to boot your BIOS must support USB boot option. If you are planning on using that as your primary OS for some reason, then it'll be slow as fuck.

On a proper USB 3.0 flash drive I think it will be quite acceptable when it comes to speed.

The system needs to able to support USB3 and even then it's nothing compared to SATA.

Yes it will work . I use to run my kali from an external drive . I didn't notice any speed issues but i wasn't doing much to push it

Possible and a bad idea, forget about this for now.

I have a home backup server which backs up about 5 computers mac and windows hourly. I use a USB2.0 flash drive for the freenas OS and speeds are fine. For windows or Linux as a main computer, I would recommend at least USB3.0 or an internal drive. USB2.0 or a dvd is too slow to smooth usage in my experience.
