So basically the issue is is that my internal WiFi card will not work for some reason and i have tried to re download the drivers from the Intel website but it will not take whether i add it manually or i let the computer search for it.
I have an Intel Centrio wireless-N WiMAX 6150 running on a dell inspiron N1140. Also I kinda of has a thought where there might be an issue with the vmware driver that is on there as it sort of stopped working around the time i installed the vmware.
Like i said I have tried to reinstall the driver to the computer of that specific piece

here is another screenshot that might help ??

Try fiddling with the adapter settings in the Network and Sharing center in Control Panel.

I had similar problem with sisters laptop soved it by firstly installing all chipset mobo drivers, than after that install wi-fi drivers.

Have to tried completely uninstalling the device in device manager and then restarting your machine? It should refresh the device.

Some more information of your initial setup is always useful.

yo superbitch-pc :P you could boot into Live Ubuntu and check out if Wirelless is working there, so you know if the card is broken or not.
Otherwise uninstall all drivers, you have a setting somewhere in the "device manager" page where you can remove the driver file. And then search the driver and install it manually. Maybe you can deactivate the VMware driver and then try again, or use the windows system restore to go back the last time it worked.
