Bugmenot is a very good website. Though many logins might not work anymore, but you can try... The website seems to be dead for some time now...
Old news, but good post anyway, I'm just amazed that no one posted this before (I totaly forgot about it) :D

I wounder how they get all these accounts? are they using bots ?
-
people can add them manualy.
My experience is that all the passwords given where fake.
Spam.
To bad! because it's a good principle. but never worked for me though.
For finding a login for a site I use mostly an old premium login scanner or just google http://*:*@website.com (http://*:*@website.com)

Because (almost) everyone knows it. I am not posting that 1+1=2 in the maths section, and i am not posting google in the "Found it on the Webs" section...

People make the accounts and then share them. It's so that people don't have to make accounts for sites that say "only registered users can see links/pictures/whatever". Whenever I go to a site that requires registration, I make an account using a disposable email and then post the login/password on BugMeNot.
