How would you get hash value from a .zip file

for windows install
http://www.flyingbit.com/products/hash_calculator/ (http://www.flyingbit.com/products/hash_calculator/)
and you can right click in windows on the file and calculate.

on linux just "sha1sum file.zip", also md5sum, sha*sum, etc..

the "hash value" of a file is called a Checksum.
