My friend found this code for a keylogger, and he's not sure if its in C# or C++, but he said that there are way too many errors in it for it to run. I don't know much at all about coding in general (i just started learning python) so maybe you guys could debug it and send it back to me? It's attached as a .exe, but you guys should have no problem editing it. If you want, you can copy it and use it as you wish.

Where the he'll did you get this?. This is like 10 times as complex as it needs to be. Did the middle look like java to anyone else? Maybe it's just me...
And you did change the things it told you to change right?

I got it from my friend, I have no idea where he got it lol. And yeah I plan on making my own eventually, as soon as I start getting good at scripting and stuff it'll be one of my first projects. I just needed one to get me by until then. Do you guys know of any free ones that aren't too bad? Last time I downloaded one I got like 5 trojans :/

You get Trojans by not reading the source. Look back, there is a section labeled: Change or will not work!

Look up ardamax. Some family ketlogger. Meterpretter or a RAT like poison ivy or turktrojan

@ Live Wire, i never ran the programs, the trojans were on my computer as soon as the zip files turned up in my download folders :/.
