Salix is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Slackware that is simple, fast and easy to use. Salix is also fully backwards compatible with Slackware, so Slackware users can benefit from Salix repositories, which they can use as an "extra" quality source of software for their favorite distribution. Like a bonsai, Salix is small, light & the product of infinite care.

Yhea cool,,... another linux dist, but did you used it?, are there reasons why you think this would be a contribution to evilzone?, please give us more information about the os, than just the information of existence.

I didn't have time to use it. Although it looks good, I'll try it out today in my workplace

Yes, one reason is to give other users the opportunity to try other linux distro instead of searching the web ?

About this, since it's based on Slackware I can only assume it's good, Slackware is, in my opinnion, the hardcore Linux, it was built aiming optimization and configuration, and not for GUI or rookies (yes it can be a pain if it's your first linux, but its worth it).
If you know Slackware, you know linux.
About this one, I never heard of it and unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to test it anytime soon, so if anyone trys it out, please share some feedback, if it's worth it I will have to make some space and time. Though every day that passes I feel less like installing another Linux Distro, after all, the core is the same, and being open-source and linux you can change everything you wish, so it's really just about how the core and the GUI interacts with each other and a few tweaks.
