Hello.
I was gonna fix my vintage laptops sometime soon and since it's gonna run FreeDOS I thought I'd put some old, classic arcade games on them for demonstration purposes.
So I'd like you to name what are the most known arcade games that you know of and maybe you know where to get the ORIGINAL game versions and not freeware clones?....
I know and found so far these games:
- Doom (not really arcade but a very well known game)
- Invaders
- Tetris
- Pong
- Pacman
- Bomberman
- Donkey Kong
- Mario
-
Snake
Metal Slug
-
prince of persia, megaplex what are you going to touch the bsd?
-
Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Blood
Sid Meier's Civilization
Wolfenstien 3D
Leisure Suit Larry
Lemmings

Those doesn't seem like DOS games bro.

Look here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Index_of_MS-DOS_games_(A-M)) and here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Index_of_MS-DOS_games_(N-Z)). I've played the games I have listed in a DOS emulator, so they are legit, a quick trip to google and youtube will prove it.

Ok, but I doubt they will run on a 50MHz, 8MB RAM and 25MHz, 2MB RAM machines... I'll try once I'll install FreeDOS onto them :P

lemmings might run on the 8MB, but I doubt the other stuff will. Never hurt to try though lol.
