Never really tried CG. Well, in depth CG. I've done some assets and artwork for some indie games, but I used a styles my wife bought me and Micromedia Fireworks, or Flash.


Never tried photoshop or gimp.

Try it. You might like it :)

Blender is also cool. Just a bit too time consuming for me. But the 3D artwork is amazing. Too close to real life.

I've messed with blender a little too. I made a gold fish for my wife once. The rest of blender stuff is all code. Like I did the frustrum correction or "portal view" that Johnny Lee did with the Wiimote. Except I used the webcam and some IR tracking software I wrote.


But that's going off topic lol.
