What Computer parts should I buy for a computer that can crack normal passwords in 4-5 minutes (+ -) 1000$? ;D ;D

I would say around 4gig RAM, dual-core @ 2.4GHz each, and 4 AMD Radeon HD 5770 GPU cards.


It's all about the GPU's, not CPU's

Depends on the crackers and their technology.
I'd go for a QUACK-CORE CPU!
