Hello fellow Evilzoners :)
Many of you might know what http://progenic.com (http://progenic.com) is, some of you may not. Progenic is a website for "top" "underground technology" websites.
For a long time Evilzone was #1 at progenic and it was a great traffic source.
My question to you is, do we want to put Evilzone back on Progenic?
Personally I am not sure, progenic are often associated with lamers and idiots, no offence to anyone.

Please don't, it has become the "number one list of script-kiddie paradise's" and will only give the website bad influence, and even worse members :p

But think about it, how did u started in the underground world??.
I got an idea, we wait an few months\weeks\days untill most respected members got some posts.
And then we lock some of the boards, like zone releases and more premium stuff.
And unluck it when ppl got enough posts , (exluded post count from introduction board (unless topic creator) and random board. ) so we know we motivate the leechers, but give the newbies an opertunity to find his way into the world of evilzone.
What do you think?

FactionWars has a good idea I agree with him.
Pros: More users online making the forum grow as a whole and therefore making it more widley knowing bringing in more reqpected hackers
Cons: As more people know about the site you will have more and more script kiddies who will post more and more "How duz I hak" thresds. <Should this happen, an instant permaban should be issued.

but with the idea of putting stamps on money, and such might draw wrong kind of people (Skiddies), still our "popularity" might rise

I believe its worth the tradeoff, even if per 100 members gained we gain just two or three high quality members,in due time,the skidies will be sorted out.
I would vote in favor,I suggest you start a poll.

It should be no problem to sort the skiddies out, as they tend to make threads like "wat, how i hack xD???", for that they'll be rewarded with either a temp or permban imo, but as Netspliter says, make a poll.

On Topic:
I'm not sure either, like FactionWars said would be a good idea and skiddies could be contained, but I remember when I joined ISR, I still have only 10 posts or so because the available areas are boring so it might not work that well.
I think everyone has enough friends to call that will call other friends, and many of us have other websites where we could associate EvilZone as affiliated and would be a good advertising.
On the other hand we could let Evilzone out of Progenic 1 month and see how it was, if we're enough active then we can stay out of progenic, otherwise we can join progenic.
PS: I found some website on progenic only a couple months ago, does that make me a skid? xD

I think progenic would really be a great thing to get EZ more popular and yeah it would lead many skiddies to EZ, but EZ will not be untroubled by skiddies with or without progenic. so I'll vote yes, better use progenic for some time to be more popular, cause EZ will sure be able to handle the skiddie problem easily.. so for that I like Factionwars' idea.. ;)

Don't bother, Projenic is too easy scam to #1 so the lame sites get top scores.
I remember once when somebody on HackHound put a Projenic voter inside his crypter/dropper, that was pretty funny.

I'd have to agree with most of the folks here, progenic listing is ultimately a good thing. If anything, it drags people away from going carding sites and other sketchy shit. Newbies can be a pain to deal with, but some of them grow up to be great contributors to sites like this.

Don't agree with that, unless we are really searching loads of members.
BTW, i don't think lots of top sites want to affiliate with other sites.

Ande thought of making EvilZone as big as it was before so I don't know, ande decides.

We are more than open for affiliation, we already got a affiliation topic and page. But we are picky when it comes to who we want to affiliate with because of the fact that people see "you" as what you surround yourself with. In other words if we surround ourself with cool forums, we will get cool people and people will think we are cool. :P

I've been lurking on sites found on progenic for the past 2 months or so...I've only found a handful that had a few members with skills. In the end ande, it's your choice. Remember on 1nj3ct, in order to register you had to pass a hacking challenge? Might not be a bad avenue to look into once more, maybe something more difficult this time around.
