: How to do with this wep hex key?

This is the wep hex I got from aircrack-ng : 12:34:56:78:90:12:34:56:78:90:AB:CD:EF
I tried using 12345678901234567890ABCDEF , but could not connect.
Any advise will be appreciated?

Do you even know what a HEX is? and also that not even a valid HEX...

ok let me try to explain whats happened

if to owner of the router chose to use any length password the router hashes the password into a key (with no viewable ASCII character equivalent) then uses that but it doesnt matter. just enter the key in hex mode when connecting to the network dont try to turn it into a string and use that
