Recently I got a 5th computer that I wanted to have an wired network connection, but unfortunately I only have a 4 port wireless router. So now I'm looking at 8 port wireless routers and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions, or anything that I should consider while looking around.
Thanks

Yeah, I was thinking about that, especially now that I see how few 8 port wireless routers are out there... any suggestions for switch shopping then?

Why not just a hub? Your network isn't some enterprise level topology or anything. SoHo's rarely needs switches.

Why do you want wired, when you can have... wireLESS!

It's faster?

Most of my computers are pretty old, 1998, 2004, and some in between and I don't really want to buy wireless cards for them, as well as the wired connection will be a little faster. I also want to be able to remote connect into my backtrack computer through the wired and be able to use the wireless card I have with it to experiment with stuff, as I have nothing else to do at work :D

I suppose a hub would do the job as well, but a switch isn't that much more expensive, and I don't know if there is much difference configuring a hub and a switch, but we work with switches at my job and I'd like to be able to get the hang of it at home, see what can be done. Maybe I can just ask my boss for one of those 32 port switches... ;D
Thanks for the suggestions skidiot, those look like what I would need.
