I was mean to say which vpn u people recommend?
-
oh thats another question ^^
well i'm from sweden so i use a swedish vpn called anonine
its cheap 7,58usd / month
2048bit encryption
its openvpn
the speed is acceptable ill get 60-80 down and 7-9 up, my original speed is 100/10 and ill get 95/10-12 usually
and yeah they dont save logs
iam still a big unsure about the logs, i mean they need to save something so i sent a mail
exactly which logs and databases do you save?
When creating an account, do you save IP? do save your OS, Browser or other information?
when making a order what data do you save?
when you connect and surf with your VPN service which logs are saved? saved original IP? saved time? saved amount of traffic?
and how long do you save this logs?
answer:
Hello!
We save NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. We have your username and the email address you selected at registration, thats it.
Anonine Support
if its true its good, but issent there laws that force them to save some sort of loggs?
i mean if i were to do something illegal and some sort of police contacted them about the IP
they need to have something no?
ether way ill use some sort of proxys aswell so ill hope iam secure..
ether way short answer is anonine.se

I would recommend CyberGhost VPN.
There is a free version as well. With regards to logs, the support forums claim that they do not keep any logs what so ever. I remember reading an article the other day that discussed this same matter.
It was stated that if the authorities were to make a request for such logs, they would simply be told there are none available to surrender, because the fact of the matter would be, there are none which exist in the first place.
Here is the link to CyberGhost VPN as well as the support post and the survey article if anyone is interested in reading. A few VPN providers were approached by the publisher and specifically asked on how they handle requests for log data and information, and whether or not they do possess any records at all. Feel free to have a look :)

I know a lot of people in my circles use hacked servers as VPNs. No charge and good speeds.
-
Paid: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=vpn+services (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=vpn+services)
Free:
You can also configure tor to use exit nodes from a specific country (granted, those nodes have to be online for you to use them). There's a file within one of the sub-folders called "torrc" just put these two lines at the end of it:
ExitNodes server1, server2, server3
StrictExitNodes 1
Where server1/2/3 would be any tor node. Tor nodes can be found by clicking on the "View the Network" button on the Vidalia interface. I should also note, you will have to start tor in order to see any tor servers. In the end, it pretty much has the same functionality as a vpn if you use it this way, and it's generally just as safe from prying eyes.
Or, you can do what techb said, and learn how to root hundreds of servers simultaneously, and setup lots of ssh tunnels and socks proxies.

Cyberghost is pretty fast and reliable. They claim to keep no logs as well. In terms of HideMyIP I found it more useful for one time uses. If you have a specific need, for example, circumventing a download timer. For daily consistent use I'd certainly go with CyberGhost. I found software like HideMyIP to be rather slow at times and not as dependable or reliable as the alternatives that are available.
In terms of the pro version you could easily locate a warez copy for CyberGhost no problem.

here you go

Just to skullrape this thread.
Are there any VPN servers that allow you to have an open port and thus run a service.
For certain malicious purposes it would be usefull.
