Somebody my friend knows bought one of these, called up the retailer and said he received an empty box, and he sent the empty box back and got another one for free. Except  the box wasn't empty :-P

I'd have thought that the retailers would have security in place to prevent this stuff.

And yes, I don't understand anyone who would go with a tent and spend a few nights outside apple shop just to get the iPhone a few days sooner then others.
