: Google Play does not support my country for payments??
: Kulverstukas October 15, 2012, 07:05:28 PM
This is flippin' weird, god damn it. Google Play (Android market) does not support paid apps for my country - meaning I can upload apps, but I cannot receive money for them (free apps only).
I've seen some devs from my country uploading paid apps on there but I cannot find much, I am sure a workaround exists.

Everything would be great if Google used a god damn PayPal instead of their ugly wallet.
So how do I get around this??

Lithuania is in the list of countrys, whom developers can sell their apps: http://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=138294

:
Currently, developers in these locations may sell paid applications to users in the following countries:
    ...
    Japan
    Kenya
    Latvia
    Lithuania
    Luxembourg
    Malta
    ...
    Mexico

Only limit is,that you can only sell apps to users from the other countries in the list (still 75,and most of the big/important like US/UK/India/GermanyFrance/etc. ...)

Yeah, I know. I can sell TO my country, but not FROM my country. Which is kinda... fucked up?

get someone trusted to do it? Until your country has Google merchant.

Or
You make a key or shit.. Like apk key app... Or a server to check for imei verification and app unlock.
Use Paypal to distribute it.
Use alternate market perhaps.

Maybe use play store for trial advertisement and sell it on market.

Btw.. Is it necessary to have adsense ads only? Not  some other service?

Don't know what ads you are talking about. Apps use AdMob to display adds.

Yeah yeah... Keep feeling sorry for yourself.. Pennies still mean money, better than nothing.

Google earns by Pennies.. Maybe you guys were not worth it for Google to make effort.

Oh well.. Deal with it.
