I thought that this was awesome! A really great move by Darpa, but the controversy around it makes me sad. It's funny because with the site I'm making I also want to bring together skilled people without access to degrees. The Darpa manager was right, IMO, when he said that "this is where the money is."

Yes, a nice move by DARPA. Great idea too bad it's got controversy surrounding it.

I know, right! I think they should also do something like this outside of high schools. Like how you have community centers, you could have construction centers, where people could do all that same stuff. It would reach a greater audience.
I think it would way to expensive though, unfortunately, buying all the supplies and stuff...
At least we have RasberryPi's. :D
