Question itself is stupid. One does not simply compare Mobile OS's with Desktop OS's, plus Linux is not a system, it's a god damn kernel. And what kind of a system is "PC" supposed to be?

I have to agree it's kinda sounds like a stupid question. Just go HERE (http://distrowatch.com) and you will find the best OS's in the world.
And what kind of a system is "PC" supposed to be?
I think he meant Windows or something.

Why didn't you list more OS's.  You say Linux, but you don't mention other OS's.  I assume you mean all unix based OS's when you say Linux, but that isn't accurate.

It IS a BS question because some OS's are better for specific tasks, so the best OS is going to be one that enables you to do what you are wanting to do.

BSD FTW!!    ;D

I have to agree with Kulver, what kind of crap is this? You need to learn the difference between mobile OS's and computers OS's

The best OS is one that was never made.

In reality, it depends on you. I know, you might have read that in many places, and I had the same dilemma. How do I know what's best for me? Read the tl;dr.

TL;DR - Guess and check.

This topic would have better been asked as: "Advantages and Disadvantages to different OSes?"  instead it was posed as such and has no value especially since the OP was not even using proper grammar and just decided to use a poll which isn't even accurate.  Therefore:
