Hello Evilzone!
As you may or may not have noticed, we had a couple of hours downtime due to a server change.
Ande and I have spend the last few hours working on getting a new server up and running. As of now, the majority of Evilzone's web related stuff should be up and running again.
This new server is quite an upgrade from the previous one. We have about 5x the processor power, 16x the amount of RAM and about 150x the amount of HDD space and 5x the bandwidth with way above gigabit burst capacity.
If you find any errors please report them to any one of the staff and we'll fix it ASAP.
Thanks for all your patience with the few hours downtime you may have experienced as the DNS changed and the server got fixed (as there were some bugs we had to work out).
Thanks,
- Evilzone Staff

Also this server has a lot more space on it so there should no longer be any issues with upload.evilzone.org. Feel free to not worry about the size of the stuff you upload anymore, we have around 150x more space on this server.
Good to know. Thanks.

Props for actually doing a good job on this. The last forum I was a part of moved servers and now has more downtime than uptime. Also took them about a week to move over. So very well done, guys. Very well done.

It's what happens when your administration team actually knows what the fuck is going on. Not implying that your old site isn't good. I'm just implying that we are better.

Hahaha, the old site is dead now so by default you guys are better. But yes, more active management and site overall, so definitely better.

It's not a difficult process. You set up the new server, you back up the old server, configure the new server, install the backups, pull services up, change DNS and port forward whilst you wait for propagation. Achieving 0 downtime for something like that is just trivial. Who was this old group? We should teach them better...after pointing & laughing, of course.

Welcome :). Don't hesitate to post a introduction post.
And btw, we did not even fully optimize this server :D
