: WPA2/WEP hacking from Android
: xthundemanx December 14, 2012, 07:08:34 AM
I've got jellybean and gingerbread on two mobiles..
All the "Wifi hacker" apps there are are pretty much useless..

This is a new area for me so ,
I was wondering whether there is a way to crack WPA2/WEP ...

on my phone itself ?
From windows ? (not mac)

not mutch for it afaik, but there are few solutions that work on some routers

dSploit search for it on forum to get more info and links

also i know you can get aircrack-ng working on android phones with linux installed, problem is not many cards have drivers with injection compability.

If you can't grasp that, you need to start with something a little more simple... Possibly going to backtrack-linux.org and downloading backtrack... You can then look in the tutorial section like here: http://evilzone.org/tutorials/wpa-cracking-with-backtrack-5/ and here: http://evilzone.org/tutorials/hacking-wep-with-backtrack4-final-and-airoscript (Although it will work on backtrack 5 as well)

If you have trouble understanding something, use google. You will learn if you say you learn quickly... We're not your mommy holding out a spoon pretending it's a plane.

Also you didn't even bother introducing yourself, already spamming our forum with your ignorance. I just explained this to a new member, but I don't feel like writing it again so just read this post:

Is there an Android app that's similar to dsploit but it can be used without having root privileges

I really do not think so, because unrooted phone is very limited.

If you read the description fully for these apps is tells you that they are for fun only and do not actually hack anything

There is 'wifite2' which can also use reaver. But, if your talking about android phones they won't have monitor mode or injection capabilities. You can install PwnPad on a nexus 7 tablet which will have these capabilities and comes with wifite and many other hacking tools.

I have found a nice program that works well but it is only for thomson routers if you want to take a look download the apk here (http://router-keygen.en.uptodown.com/android)

That's not really considered WPA2/WEP hacking. More like default password generator.

Routers brute forcing. Not WPA2/WEP hacking
