And wow is this going to be boring. The only classes I'm taking right now are Intro to windows :( and Computer Ethics :-\ . The very, very end of the Windows book is about running disk cleanup >:( >:( .
This should be fun. Had I had the money I would of tested out of all of these instead of just Computer Literacy. I can't wait to get to some interesting classes.

Yeah, i feel you. I myself would rather be self taught, but if you would like to dive into whatever course you'd like at anytime, go to http://edx.org
Real, free, college courses on advanced topics, mostly related to computers.

Maybe you could try "https://www.coursera.org/". I remember it being posted for online crypto classes etc... :)

I have both those sites bookmarked although I have yet to use them. It's not like I can just quit what I'm doing now, I already paid for it :P
Or actually I didn't but financial aid would refuse to pay and then I'd have to pay it all. Ah well, once I get this dumb stuff out of the way then I can move on to networking classes and unix classes and ethical hacking classes and whatnot.

I just started a Cisco network class. I havn't actually gotten into the information yet, but hopefully it will be good useful information instead of telling me what wireless means.

Was sent a groupon thing that I get five classes for $99, excluding tests. Tallied up all the courses were well over $3000, and being a Cisco class nonetheless... I plan to start Monday.

Isn't there some Cisco Academy stuff here on EZ? Like lectures or material or something?
If there is it's what you need to expect. I been through the classes your talking about, well, if it's the same ones I took. But rating Cisco they will be at least extremely similar. I know EZ has what your going to be studying. Just need to look for it I guess. RedBullAddict is going to be your help with the networking related stuff especially with Cisco related things, he has field experience.

Let me ask you guys a question. How do you answer the questions:
"What did you learn from chapter 1"(of Intro to Windows)
and
"What did you not understand from chapter 1"
?
Seriously, I don't know what to say. I guess I could say:
I didn't know that you could....uh.....waste that many pages talking about the Help and Support feature. Maybe? I don't think the teacher would like that.

You should say that you learned how to trace route googles servers, and how you could telnet into IRC servers from the schools computer. LOL, don't say that.

EDIT: Although to be honest, I've never had any luck connecting to IRC over telnet. I've done it with netcat though. IMO everything telnet can do netcat can do better...at least for me.
