When you post a problem give more info, for example here, what is your OS, i guess is win7,
well you could use this icon pack installer. It just installs win7 default icons.

Or you could do a system restore.
I am not responsible for anything.

Did you try to turn it off and on again?

Did you try to turn it off and on again?
I can make you sure about that.
Changes like that require reeboot(reestart) to take effect.

iam using windows 7 64 bit .
i dont know anything about this icon packager ,i just tried, for the first time itself i dont like it, so i selected default icons in the same program ,which changed all icon to default program....
and iam using laptop so i usually dont shut down i just hibernate it....after i have installed this program i think only once i did shut down to do system restore ,but that also didnt work for me.....
if we shut down frequently will it return back????

no. And Your os needs to be rebooted(restarted) after you make change to its system to let it take effect. So dont just leve your poor laptop in standby mode.
For you icon problem,
use linux insted of win shit. Not an option?
Then You should search for windows default theam (theam as an exe file, not the theam files in the display management) that has all the default icons of win 7 and install it. then restart your laptop and youll get your default icons.
If that doesnt work then i suggest you set up a fresh new win 7.
Dont want to do that? Say bye bye to who shit and welcome linux to your laptop.
