Well I watched it just now... and I don't really know what they wanted to show in that movie.
Also IMO TPB is a bit too much about all that copyright shit. In whole movie there was one really good quote by some elderly guy I can't remember the name, he said what I think, that copyrights are good up to a certain point.
If everything was free, the world would still be in middle ages, though many people don't buy shit because that shit is either not worth the money or is too expensive even though it's very nice thing to have. Take xbox games for example.
