Can anybody suggest me a way to get pass the connection block that my modem causes when my (prepaid limited) account has 0 usage left? Its a Wimax connection. And it takes me to their online payment page (when the usage is 0). But lets me surf their website to check my usage and pay using pre pay card sl. numbers.
So i was thinking that since it only blocks my pc from accessing every servers besides their own, maybe i can unblock it and get access to internet even when my balance is 0 and out dated.
But how? Pleas suggest a solution if you can, becaus my connection is limited and slow (1 GB usage and 512 ka/s speed is terrible).

Does an ICMP ping get out to for example 8.8.8.8?
