: Hiding my identity
: Jomo March 20, 2013, 02:52:38 AM
Hi,
I need to automate the filling out of a form from the site http://www.lowes.com/cd_Coupon+Registration_253641591_ (http://www.lowes.com/cd_Coupon+Registration_253641591_)
to get coupons but first I need to overcome a problem. I had 6 of my friends fill out the form from home or at work and some used their real information and some did not but all of them got their coupon. I too got one. The problem is that the company blocks people from getting more than one coupon per computer. I cleaned out my cookies, cleared my cache, cleaned out the flash cookies, used hide my ass to change my ip, used different email addresses and changed my user agent but got no coupons. I even submitted requests every hour just in case they check for an unusual amount of requests in a short period of time but no coupons.
I can't imagine what else to do. Any ideas would be appreciated. I am even willing to pay for a working solution!

Assuming Lowes is US based, you may need US based proxies. But wht not clone the cupons you already have?

Print them off again. Copy them, reproduce them, duplicate them. make more of the same kind, cupon le ditto, pirate them, cln

Proxies are quickly blacklisted.
There are entire companies that occupy themselves with the collection of proxies, tor exit nodes, vpn adresses ,botnets etc etc.
What they then do is sell them to other companies which block those adresses as an anti cheating system.
Ever wondered why adf.ly bots dont work :D

Basically you should scan your own and use them directly.

Google also keeps track of the previously mentioned addresses.

Footnote: hidemyass sells your ass, never trust them.

These coupons have unique bar codes and can only be used once at Lowes, so copying them will not really help much.

Then you can try from a different PC from somewhere else

Try some virtual machines. They act as a different computer, it could work...
Also, check if your ISP has your connection on a network with dynamic IP. In some cases you only have to reboot the router, or just run a script and your IP changes instantly. Although that would be traceable to you, so you would have to get creative.

Do you get these coupons through mail?  If so, wouldn't it force you to use same address on all forms, making it easy for them to detect you.

If you are getting coupons through email, create a fishing campaign and use a script so that when someone clicks on the phishing link, it submits the form using your email address.  You can have a huge database of emails that script can randomly grab from.  Just a thought  :)
