I am looking for a overly secure password manager setup. I want to keep the db on a remote server connected to the net and use a client software that is cross platform. What are people here using and what would you recommend?

https://lastpass.com/ (https://lastpass.com/)

KeePass. Open source, has tons of plugins. I have a DB stored at work that I keep all the backup-local usernames/passwords in. It's great.
-
both great ideas for sure, thanks!
we use keepass at my work as well, but i want something that can run native on linux w/o wine or mono.
i dont know much about lastpass but the db is kept on their servers right?

yes, its a browser extension for all mayor systems/browsers. so it wont save passwords outside the browser

Yeah, I don't trust that. I did come across password gorilla. Anyone here ever use it?

I use KeePassDroid. It is an android port of KeePass. Basic and great - enough for me.
