I have bought now one. KODI is easy to install (used adbFire). Kinda nice with auto startup function. Handling is as we now it. Runs pretty fast and solid. For best use you need a bluetooth keyboard. And I kinda miss the Volume keys on the controller. But cheap, fast and solid. I'd say the best would be to use it with netflix.

hak5 made a new fresh pineapple called wifi pineapple nano. Looks kinda nice - better hardware, smaller and new software "module style".

what do you guys think? has someone ordered one?

yo superbitch-pc :P you could boot into Live Ubuntu and check out if Wirelless is working there, so you know if the card is broken or not.

Otherwise uninstall all drivers, you have a setting somewhere in the "device manager" page where you can remove the driver file. And then search the driver and install it manually. Maybe you can deactivate the VMware driver and then try again, or use the windows system restore to go back the last time it worked.

If I have movies as a file, how do I put them on it? Do I need to have like a NAS to get it over the LAN or can I add a external HD to it?

Does anyone own a Amazon FireTV Stick and installed XBMC on it? I've read about it and it looks really easy to install as XBMC / Kodi lets you download an ARM build. How is the speed maybe compared to a raspberry v2? Does anyone use it more often?

It sounds like a really nice way to watch / stream movies on a tv.

how is the reading experience? So Amazon lets me add my own PDFs to the kindle easily? If I buy a book can I download it and use it later, means if I lose the kindle and buy a new one do I still own the bought book?

easy to track you. If you connect to a wirelless your phone will automatically search for the name if you don't have a internet connection. Means you automatically connect to their Wlan AP means they know when and how long your in the shop, with who and so on. If the have more than one AP they can even "track" your walk around in there. Big benefit for them, internet benefit for you.

I like the GUI YT Downloader for just downloading the Audio track, it also works with youtube playlists. Haven't had the problem with freezes... just works fine

there should be a BIOS brute force tool you can boot into, haven't tried but it does exist. Otherwise try the default BIOS passwords.

removing bios battery does work sometimes, sometimes not. But if read about brute force BIOS attack, should be easy and simple as passwords are mostly easy

Bitcoin is the way to go. Anonymous and easy to store. Price drop is not to bad as bitcoin price will rise, no limitation and easy to store money on different wallets like paper wallets.
