it says that now network unlocking a phone is totally legal




wonder if thats true and how to do it

i just bought it cuz som1 was selling it for very very cheap prize and i thought i could sell it but nobody wants this peace of shit

yeah well maybe for hackers it is but i'm not one
sure dream of being but oh well
i only know that it took longer for hackers to hack the blackberry system then others, they said it was "a pain in the ass"

I did not mean to compare network unlocking and rooting. I just was using it as example that if you know one or two way to do something it doesn't mean that you know everything on that area.

And yeah sure rooting is easy because someone else has figured the way to do it for you and shares that knowledge. But if you would need to do it from the scratch i guess it wouldn't be that easy. I'd say it is the same way with the network unlocking.

I was just wondering are you really trying to learn or just want someone to give you tools and way to unlock your phones.

But i'm not saying that i know too much about this because i have never had locked phone. 
I just tryed to make a point and hope you get it. :)


yeah i understand what you meant and sorry for the gaps, been a while since i was using a forum
but that's what i actually meant, its so easy to root a phone and android is still developing, yet nobody knows how to network unlock an old system
and no i won't go to any store or what ever, i'm not wasting any PENNY for that shit, and i never will beleive me
if i know there is a way to do it for free i will do it for free
and to be honest i'm actually curious how all this works, thats why i asked specifically for the manual, so somebody could teach me it instead of me just pressing a button and done


also i don't really need them unlocked, i have another phone ( which is a piece of shit that nobody likes blackberry ) yet unlocked, and im about to buy another phone
so it's not like i need it unlocked right away
i just wanted to see if there was somebody here that knows how to do it so don't get me wrong or anything like that


and i want it manually maybe cuz i always dreamed to be a hacker :p

well android is totally different cuz its a new system
and well rooting is easy, you can do it with every phone, with perhaps just one program or at least one program per company ( like one for nokia one for SE )


and well im not saying that it happens the same way in every phone, but there is a very big similarity in them between models of same company, like SE w595 and a newer version should be pretty much the same cuz the system is
and aswell the system is so old im surprised there is no free tools just do it

i mean every noob can root any android phone in this world, even a child can
same for jailbreak the iphone
but to be honest the root doesn't give you much possibility cuz using software to "test" vulnerabilities is illegal unless you use on ur pc
and another thing you can do is change ROM or something
sure many programs allow many cool features with root
but still root is nothing compared to what is needed to get access to the network lock
and specially there isn't much i can do with SE XPERIA x8 cuz its very very weak that even the simpliest hacks to test vulnerabilities takes for ever


all this is possible yet going into a system that nobody uses and isn't supported anymore nobody can...

that's the thing, if they can do it how come the "hackers" can't ?
i'm not saying its easy, i'm just saying that hackers just broke into the European bank few days ago and stole a bunch of information, and that is definitely 100% sure not easy at all


But that compared to entering a 10 years old system is really just nothing, mostly cuz it has vulnerabilities that aren't even fixed no more, if they find it that's it, nobody will fix it cuz no phone uses that system, now its android and ios which may have fixes after a while


And aswell i don't understand the creators of aerix and omni, they made it totally free for every1 and every device and then one day to another ask for money and make it not free.
I'm not paying a single penny for unlocking that crap, but i wanted to learn how to do it, its interesting...

im not trying to be rude, i just wanted to see if anyone would see this post, cuz i had no replies to it for days
and well i don't know the answer that's why i posted here, if i would why would i need to ask ?
i asked on xda and they said its hacking and they don't do it there, its illegal and all that

probably they don't know how to do it either
but im surprised actually, that people are hacking alot of hardcore things but yet they can't do the most simple thing as network unlocking a phone that is like 10 years old and its system

Hi there i was just here sitting all day long trying to network unlock my SE w595 and SE Xperia x8 and i couldn't find anything
I used aerix and omni and many others, but the servers look all down or either i couldn't find account
Before it was all free now i have to pay to unlock my old shitty phones


I read that the unlocking code is actually somewhere in the phone, and i read that its somehow related to certificates, cuz there is a way unlocking the phone with certificate change


Is there a way someone could teach me network unlock phones manually ? I mostly wanna learn how to do it rather then actually unlock cuz the phones are shitty and old anyway
Is there like some way to read phone's certificates to find that unlocking code ? i mean the guys that created these programs somehow know it, i wonder if i could learn it aswell
