     When I started in InfoSec, I started with the CompTIA Network+ and Security + curriculum. It was a good starting point for learning the lingo and the basics of the technology.

Youtube resources are also excellent. I'm sure you could even find a book in PDF if you used the filetype:pdf "wireless hacking with kali" (book) command

Also, I echo the aforementioned comments about using a Linux system, either as the base OS or in a VM. VMs are great for laboratory operations, since hacking unauthorized networks is unethical and illegal.
