I actively use Tor and advocate for Tor and assist the core members in developing and maintaining the code through my operation of a few high-capacity Tor relays.

I'm even younger than you OP and I feel that it is my right to have privacy and anonymity on the Internet. When an organisation such as a government attempts to take those rights away by undermining and breaking the laws set in place to deter such acts, it's hard to just sit back and watch it happen. Programs like PRISM and xKEYSCORE, revealed to the world by Edward Snowden, really brought into light the real problems, and now, the real solutions. The real solution is Tor and associated cryptographic protocols.

I haven't really found a board run as a hidden service that I like so much, but the Intel Exchange is indeed interesting.
