Sorry guys, it was because my Antivirus Vendor advised me that someone was spamming with Ransomware, so I was under the impression that with a 500% increase of Ransomware in the last two years, this was all related. Apologies and thank you for renaming the title

Ok, so now I officially know their are geniuses out there that are excellent at what they do and can either have malicious intent or help uneducated idiots like myself by informing us what is available. For anyone that is interested in security, I thought this link might be of interest. I hope it proves informative:

ok, my apologies, I did not realize that the moderators of the forum do not like external links. It makes sense with all these tracking facilities out there to keep the traffic here.

I will keep it in mind to not do it again.

I was going to ask that question, how is it possible that all these other sites get take down notices and so the content is removed super fast? I have seen things being removed within 8 days of the content being posted. In the past, the internet use to be free and open now it just feels like one hugely monitored school ground.

@gray, how can one test when they have installed one of the "Backported tracking junk" onto your pc? This is the main reason I have opted not to upgrade, I thought it was just a natural install from Windows 10 only.

Where are those VPN's and Privacy sites, need to start subscribing.

I will definitely be interested in finding out how to turn off all Windows 10 information sharing and logging, so will be keeping an eye on this post to see if anyone has useful links to make sure this happens

Do you know if any such document exists already? I mean Windows 10 has been out for some time now.

I am just interested.

Clearly to be used on a system that does not contain any antivirus software otherwise it is detected as such - or at least mine will not allow me to download the package.
