Viruses back then had more effort put into them to make the end goal more fun and interesting. Now is it just about stealing peoples money instead of causing havoc with peoples computers. Good find!

I don't think I'm confusing the statement.

"Also I wonder because of intel deciding only to support Windows 10 in their next batch of processors means for Linux?"

I was just trying to clarify your statement a little.  Yes, it seems that Skylake and above won't support any other MS OS besides Windows 10.  There's no mention of Linux/MacOS not working on Skylake.  That's the point I was trying to clear up.

Maybe AMD can capitalize on badly worded information.

Yeah maybe AMD can pull something out of bag this year...

I believe it's that the Skylake's and newer cpus will only support 10, and not 8.1 and lower.

Yes but do not confuse this in the meaning of Linux won't work, it just means the new power features with Skylake might have issues over on Linux, but as Linux is mostly desktops it won't really matter. Also as Linux is one of the most used OSs for web servers I don't Linux support is going anywhere soon. I guess it will be used as a marketing technique to scare people into moving over to Windows 10 and to upgrade hardware which is fine.

I really dislike what this browser is doing with the way it handles ads on websites, yes adverts are getting bad but this is not the way to deal with it in my opinion.

What is locking you in to use Windows? Which of your programs can't you run on Linux?

Yeah sorry for the late reply... Busy.

It is just some games are not supported which I play now and again with friends and just general support for graphics drivers with the current setup I have. I currently use a laptop which has a 970m and HD intel graphics, Ubuntu, Mint do not play well sometimes when it decides which GPU to use; plus I always get screen tearing with the 970m. I was just like I can't spend over £1000 on a laptop and live with screen tearing all the time, so I went back to Windows. Also I have been a Windows noob since I got interested in computing, so even though I could understand how to use Linux it was hard for me to move permanently; someday I will go back and try again with Linux; with the way Windows 10 is going I need to move.

Also glad you liked my post ;D

I used to have an old Ford Escort, it was a piece of shit though because there was never any upkeep done on it.

Arrh nice, do you have any pictures of it; it would be great to see. Also they go for like over £20, 000 here in the UK if they are done up properly, more rally style. I would really like to get into rally driving so much with one of those cars. :D

Katheudo, well put together and effort applied.

I also, have upgrade from Windows 8 to 10 and then onwards to Linux...  All my work stuff is supported on it, so no need to look back.

But If you do dual boot, switch off Fast Startup on Windows...

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah I wish I could move over to Linux full time and ditch Windows but for me personally Linux is just not supported enough enable for me to switch. Also I wonder because of intel deciding only to support Windows 10 in their next batch of processors means for Linux?

https://enpass.io/

This is a password manager which is cross platform, nice GUI layout and works on Linux.

I have not really found much about it, anyone have any experience with this program?
