General discussion / Re: Easiest programming/scripting language

I would recommend Python. It is what I started on and it helped me understand the thought process of writing a program without dealing with complex structuring or a picky syntax. I have also heard good things about Javascript but I've never looked at it. Good luck sir!(:

Hardware / Recommendations for Android Phones.
« on: October 20, 2015, 06:07:15 pm »
Hello everyone. I currently own an iPhone 4s and it's starting to crap out on me. I've been looking at Android phones but there are many and I'm not sure where to start. I'm hoping to get a "smaller" phone so I don't have to hold a TV to my face. 5.2" looks like a good size and 5.7" looks a bit large, for example. Anyone have a recommendation or feedback? Thanks and stay awesome.

Code::Blocks is a great free IDE. I love it and it is what I used to learn C++. Also, G++ should be a fine compiler.

General discussion / Re: Best os for someone new to Linux?

I started with Ubuntu and really like it. It has a nice community to support it and most questions I've had can be found with a simple Google search. I've also ran Mint from a USB a few times and it seems pretty user friendly, not sure how the community is though. Overall, I would suggest Ubuntu.
