My fave games of my childhood were The Sims and The Sims 2 and also Warcraft III, especially the original Reign of Chaos one.

Never owned a gaming console ever so those are very much lost on me.

I mostly include my sysadmin/automation code in my portfolio or at least in my resume but I also mainly work for information security companies which puts me in a lucky position.

For Mac OS, there is a python shell already built in within the operating system. But you can install the version on the website as well because I think the one that's bundled is already quite old.

If you want to work in a Unix-like environment in Windows, which is what I do personally, I recomment Cygwin64 and installing a Python package.

Currently on a Macbook and I don't think I can go back to windows unless necessary. Work still uses windows 7 and is quite a workhorse to be honest.

My brother has Windows 10 on his new laptop and while for me it's okay it's quite a learning curve coming from 7.

A lot of people argued for C as the language to start because all the foundations are there: logic formation, syntax, semantics, etc. and it's easy to adapt to other programming languages afterwards. But IMO the best programming language to learn is whatever you're comfortable in.

Speed reading never really worked for me. I forget even if I try to read intently. Relied on speed reading quite my whole life and it left gaps on my knowledge so now I try to really intently focus on something, as hard as it is.
