Sorry for posting a bunch of sh!t links but this all made for an interesting read.

Its interesting to think that access to SS7 could be gained by compromising an individual or provider in a third world setting.

I like the sound of "Skylock" too.  Sounds like something that wants to obliterate the human race.

General discussion / Re: Anonymous declares war on Isil

About the most effective thing internet activists could do to fuck with an extremist state like Daesh would be to uncover and interfere with their funding mechanisms and money flows.  Even a pariah state cannot exist in a financial vacuum.  Reveal a few of their offshore tax haven bank accounts, the first world companies doing back door deals with them and generally whoever takes care of their money and economic output and shit would get very real very quickly.

Will never ever happen though.  It'll just be 10,000,000 skids spamming ISIS twitter feeds for the lulz.

Anonymity and Privacy / Safe-mail

User opinions on the current safemail debacle?  I'm pissed because I have been using it for password recovery and I'm already locked out of two sites because I can't access password resets.

They've really dropped the ball on giving updates and timeframes for resolving their issues post DDOS attack. Its been ages for what is essentially a paid service to be offline.  If it was one of my normal service providers I'd be asking for a refund  :'(
