Currently I am enrolled in college for CIS starting my second semester--- and I say if you can do it, go for it! Even though there are a lot of headaches......also you probably won't be able to take your CS courses until your second semester. If you are in the district it should be even cheaper for you.

I also recommenced getting your degree instead of the certificate it can go a long way!
best of luck!

Anonymity and Privacy / Re: vpn discussion
« on: November 18, 2015, 02:38:24 pm »
what vpn do you use?
if you run your own, why and how?
otherwise, what do you think makes your vpn better?

people who say "none" or "hola" will be laughed at

Well, I use Bit-mask for Linux....It is a free VPN but it does get the job done *If you are considering to try it out do not run just VPN thinking you are protected there is some additional things you might need* Even though it is a free VPN has some good feautures such as client-side storage including local data and cloud backups and the encryption takes place on your device so the service provider will never read your stored data

Here are some more feautures

Thwart Network Surveillance

Bitmask VPN is very effective at bypassing most censorship and network surveillance by your ISP or country.

Anonymize your address

Your IP address will also be hidden, keeping your physical location safe from nefarious websites or network eavesdroppers.

Extra Security

We take extra security measures to prevent problems common to other personal VPNs, such as DNS leakage and IPv6 leakage.

But as I stated before you will need to configure some other things to ensure anonymity of some kind- because there is no such thing as full anonymity

Best of luck,

NSA and FBI probably just doing it without disclosure it. If they were disclosuring this, that would be pointless.

Well they have not exactly said it themselves but come on now it makes sense! why expose the accounts when the NSA and FBI were probably monitoring it but anyway I don't know who am I  :o

‘Anonymous’ Nailed Down 3800 ISIS Twitter Accounts On The Next Day Of Warning -and they are finding more, I don't know if they really found them but if they do, what will govt do? I guess NOTHING.

Well.... the NSA and FBI are mad because when anonymous exposed the Twitter accounts of ISIS members the company acted fast and suspended some of them. Really what anonymous is doing is pointless because the NSA and FBI could've used the accounts to read their messages which is one way they communicate and recruit  :o

I have to say, I would hope that they could do something. I agree with Phoenix though, Nuke the fuckers. End this dumb 'war on terror' and bring about a new world order..I mean *cough* fuck them up!

That probably would not be good idea....you must use nukes wisely lol  8)

Just switch to any distribution of Linux! Although, Windows 10 is great besides the privacy issue everyone should be concerned as too why is it being forced. You can also join the others and use a pirated version on 7 or 8.......
